Since I'm already out of school, I'm thinking I should start writing more in this.

My final grades so far:

International Communications - A
Media Graphics - B+ (This is a miracle, considering he has hated every one of my projects thus far.)
Communications Internship - A
Advertising - A

All I need now is a final grade for my film class. 

& next semester's classes: Consumer Behaviour, Financial Management, Managerial Accounting, Advertising Copy Writing 1, Legal Aspects of Communications, Creativity & the Arts.

Bamboozle weekend was amazing. I met so many fantastic people, and got to see some amazing bands. Jack's will always be the most amazing thing ever, without a doubt.

So today I had my official MTV orientation for the Spring semester internship. It went quite well. I love the whole atmosphere of MTV, everyone's so casual and friendly. We got the whole talk about policies and contact info and all that basic stuff. & we also got our applications for our IDs, which are probably the coolest thing about it all. They make us feel all important, I guess. We did some arts & crafts too, kind of weird but totally icebreaker-ish. I'm looking forward to working there. It's going to be an amazing year. & the best plus of all is that interns get hired full time after graduation, so how amazing is that?

& Jack's Mannequin is pretty soon! Almost a month away! =D

This is way overdue, but I couldn't post here for a while - dunno what was up, and I was much HTML-friendlier on Xanga. But either way, this is mostly just for me. Writing has always been my best form of communication. Anyway, like I said, this whole 2006 summary thing is way late, but here it goes:

The best things about 2006:

- I was introduced to a ton of incredibly talented bands/artists, including: McFly, Boys Like Girls, Damien Rice, +44, theAUDITION, just to name a few.

- I was lucky enough to have met Rupert Grint and seen one of the most amazing independent films that year, Driving Lessons. 

- Developed an obsession with the movie Closer, @ first because of my love for Damien's "The Blower's Daughter." Evetually, I fell in love with the plot of the movie, as well as Jude Law. Mmmm.

- Became closer to the best friend I lost touch with because of different lifestyles. And am thankful to have been able to re-kindle our 10-year friendship.

- Anticipated turning 21, only to realize it really was not that big of a deal (with the exception of being able to purchase alcohol legally).

- Got the chance of a lifetime to work at both Z100 and MTV, and met some amazing people because of it. 

- Realized that working with music is what I was meant to do for the rest of my life. Thanks to none other than Justin Timberlake.

- Threw out all of my judgements on the kind of person Justin was. I used to hate him with a passion, only because of one encounter that turned sour. After meeting him and getting to talk to him, I reazlied he is really an amazing person.

- Became even more obsessed with George Clooney after realizing how much effort he puts into Darfur. And what a talented and funny guy he is overall.

- Got a chance to see Dane Cook's live show in November. WOW.

There's probably a lot more stuff that happened; stuff that I can't think of at the top of my head. But these are really just the most memorable ones, I guess.

Another day since school let out on Wednesday, and I should really start to study for my Economics final. But I really can't get myself motivated enough to look through my notes. & I really need at least a B+ on that exam in order to get that B in the class. All because of one 69% on an exam. I cannot wait until January. Starting MTV and my 21st birthday. =]

McFly's new video for Friday Night is really awesome. It feels like this whole documentary thing. It's really cool. & Danny looks amazing.

I can't wait for Jack's. I heard Andrew's getting married next weekend. God bless him, he deserves to be happy.

Give it up for the first entry! Haha. I need to celebrate because today was my last day of classes. And I'm exempt from two finals - thank you CPS Honor Society. =] See, it pays off to be studious. LOL.

Well, to end the week off perfect, I just bought my pre-sale Jack's Mannequin tickets, the ones that come with the early access VIP wristbands [hopefully with the tickets in the mail]. I hate dealing with Will Call, so I hope they stick both of them in the envelope along with the tickets.

I have to make up both the review sheets for Philosophy and Economics. Oh what fun. At least Christmas season is coming closer. My favourite holiday. =]
